Today was not a good day! I have been wrestling with this compression style tube top that my doctor put me in after surgery for the past few days and I am DONE! It didn't bother me the first day or 2 in the hospital, probably because I was so hopped up on pain and numbing meds but ever since I got home it has been a real jerk. Not only does it squeeze the ever loving crap out of my swollen and tender chest, but it also rolls up on me from the bottom. My doc said I can fold it down for 15 mins at a time, a few times a day, and while that is the most glorious 15 mins of my life, it doubly squeezes my guts in the process. As most of you know, anytime you are taking narcotics, the restroom is a touchy subject. I've been loading myself up with all kinds of stool softeners, laxatives, etc, because as of day 4, no movement people. I even googled it and found a carrot, green apple and wheatgrass juice that was suppose to work wonders, that I got from The Soup Peddler. I have never prayed so hard for a BM (sorry for the TMI but someone needs to give it to you straight)! Between the lack of movement and wrestling that tube top I have had it! Goodnight.
